The mission of CAEMTA, the local affiliate of LaNREMT in the Capital Area, is the enhancement of the EMS profession through advocacy, education and awareness.
Annual membership in CAEMTA is $16 which includes one year's membership in LaNREMT. Continuing Education is offered after each monthly meeting and CEUs are awarded. CAEMTA holds two refreshers annually in the fall and provides CPR classes and updates for its members. Membership is open to First Responders, EMT-B/I/P, ERTs, RNs, NPs, PAs, MDs and anyone involved in Emergency Medical Services. The easiest way to join is to just show up at our monthly meetings.
CAEMTA meets the 2nd Tuesday of every month at 1800 at the American Red Cross building 4655 Sherwood Common Blvd, off N. Harrells Ferry Rd. Sherwood Common is the new name for Blvd de Province.
